Diane Fenster creates digital photomontages that are at once striking and appealing to the eye. Her Photoshop work and commercial illustrations are well known in the graphic design industry and her fine art exhibits are not to be dismissed. Highly recommended viewing.
Fenster refers to her work as "Photoillustration(This term isn't in the dictionary, and Wikipedia hasn't heard of it either. However, I did get numerous hits on Google for it, so it may be too-new of a mashup for lexicon adoption.)" and the term does describe her process to some degree. What is not conveyed by this general description is the style or composition of her work, her wonderful sense of color or the interesting ways in which she digitally manipulates and caresses her images to fit a given theme.
